Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled on bookings made through Airlines Group Travel.

The airline's rules come first

We act as an agent. When you cancel a booking, the amount refundable is determined by the fare rules of the ticket the airline issued, not by us. Some group fares are fully non-refundable once ticketed. We tell you the refund position of a fare before you pay.

Before tickets are issued

On a group contract that has been confirmed but not yet ticketed, cancellation usually means the deposit is forfeited under the airline's contract. Date changes at this stage are often free or low cost. The exact position depends on the carrier and is set out in your booking confirmation.

After tickets are issued

Once e-tickets are issued, the ticket's own fare rules apply. Depending on the fare, this may mean:

• A full refund, less any airline penalty and our service fee
• A partial refund limited to government taxes and airport charges
• No refund at all, on a fully restricted group fare

Our service fee

Any service fee we charge for arranging a booking covers work already carried out and is non-refundable once the booking is confirmed.

How to request a refund

Email info@airlinesgrouptravel.com or call +1-888-829-1288 with your booking reference. We will confirm what is refundable in writing before anything is processed.

Processing time

Once the airline approves a refund, funds are normally returned to the original payment method within 7 to 20 business days. Some airlines take longer, and we will keep you updated where they do.

Schedule changes and cancellations by the airline

If the airline cancels your flight or makes a significant schedule change, you are generally entitled to a refund or a rebooking under that airline's conditions of carriage and applicable law. We will handle the claim on your behalf at no additional charge.

Involuntary changes and disruption

Where a flight is disrupted by weather, air traffic control or other events outside the airline's control, refund entitlement is limited to what the carrier's conditions of carriage provide. This is why we recommend travel insurance for every group.
